Arojinle (Oniduro Mi Ese O) is a popular song released last year by Nigeria Gospel songwriter and singer Adeyinka Alaseyori which since few days ago got another attraction from fans as another popular Gospel singer Tope Alabi decided to dish her in a large gathering.
The same song was also produced by Shola Allyson.
Tobi Alabi while ministering in a gathering said the song “oniduro mi ese o” is not well composed. She said God has given all human the brain to interpret whatever is heard from the Holy Spirit and revelation can not just be translated word for word.
Oniduro mi which means “my benefactor or guarantor” in English is not enough or right the describe Jesus who did not just stand for us but died for our sins. She said the composer wrote and sang “katakata” (rubbish); She said, she has gone back to correct her songs after noticing errors and the composer should have done same.
Tope Alabi statements in few hours generated lots of reactions from fans and other Gospel singers who seriously faulted her. Lanre Teriba (Atorise) while in a gathering proceeded to dish Tope Alabi in a prayer knowing fully well that the original singer of Oniduro Mi Ese O is also in the gathering. He said in form of prayer “anyone who will misbehave for my glory to shine, let the person start misbehaving now. My benefactor, Oniduro mi, thank you”
